Ranch Flavored Roasted Sunflower Seeds
Here is another manly treat. For all those fathers who love sunflower seeds while cheering for their baseball team.
My Hubby is a big fan of David's Ranch Roasted Sunflower Seeds. I buy them whenever I see them in our store. But there is only one in our town that carries this particular variety. Naturally, I was determined to recreate this snack at home.
Mission accomplished: Hubby loved the freshly roasted, slightly smokey flavor. The ranch flavor was spot on!
So next time you are heading to a ballpark for a game, bring these with you and enjoys a yummy snack!
Ranch Flavored Roasted Sunflower Seeds
2 c sunflower seeds ( I used David's Original seeds )
3 Tbsp butter, melted
1 1/2 Tbsp Ranch dressing mix ( dry, in a packet )
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a measuring cup, mix melted butter and ranch dressing mix.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine seeds with ranch mix. Toss to coat.
Pour the seeds onto a foil-lined baking sheet. Spread into a single layer, as best as you can.
Roast for 8 - 10 minutes. Cool for 2 - 3 minutes on the sheet, then transfer onto a plate to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
